OUR STAFF
Nonprofit staff are crucial for driving missions forward, managing operations, and securing resources. They directly implement programs, deliver services, and manage fundraising efforts, ensuring the organization's financial health and impact on the community. Without a dedicated and engaged staff, nonprofits cannot effectively achieve their goals.

WESOURCE: The Village Connection is the realization of that vision. As a nonprofit, we are dedicated to mentorship, resource provision, and fostering a spirit of collective care. Our goal is to be the “village” every child needs to thrive, creating a brighter future for the communities we serve.
NATASHA MONTGOMERY
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Growing up in a close-knit Connecticut community, I experienced firsthand the transformative power of collective care, even in the absence of formal mentorship. This upbringing ignited a lifelong passion to bridge the gap for children—ensuring their needs are met with love, support, and guidance.
In 2020, I relocated to Georgia during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and found a home in the vibrant yet underserved Clarkston community. Inspired by the resilience and potential of its residents, I began mentoring children and young adults, ages 3 to 22. Whether it was helping with schoolwork, providing clothing and food, or simply being a consistent source of care, these small acts of service reaffirmed the importance of connection and community.
By 2022, I expanded my efforts by launching an ice cream truck, committing 50% of its earnings to initiatives such as book bag drives, tablet giveaways, and bike donations. These experiences deepened my resolve to create a more structured platform to empower children and families throughout Georgia.
